Raspberry pi case – Pi Crust Review

After the purchase of the my raspberry pi and having a quick play with it straight out of the box, it became apparent that it would require a case to ensure its ongoing operation as the raspberry pi + cat + table makes a bad combination.

After a quick search on the internet for a small simple raspberry pi case i found this a great little case called a PiCrust

The PiCrust is made out of laser cut 2mm thick acrylic plastic and comes in many colours such as red (shown above)/ green/yellow and even metallic sliver and at the low-cost of £8.99 plus £0.99 for delivery makes it a great purchase.

Once it arrives you will get the following parts in a flat pack style.

It is very simple to assemble just match up the slots in the base with sides which are all numbered and clip together and then put on the  elastic band which apply tension to the case to keep it together.

Also as a nice bonus 10% of all PiCrust sales are donated to the Raspberry Pi Foundation that makes the Raspberry Pi unlike other raspberry pi case suppliers.
