How to create a simple message box with vbs

How to create a simple message box with VBS

1) Open up notepad.exe

2) In the blank notepad type the following

lol = msgbox(“your text here”,0,”your text here”)

The first “your text here” controls the content of the message box – This is where you put the message for your customers to read

The second “your text here” controls title bar of the message – This is where you can put the title of the message box – you can also delete the second “your text here” and just leave the two quotations marks to have no title on your message box.

3) Save the file as .vbs

If done correctly you should now have “File Name”.vbs double click on it and you should get something like the following.

lol = msgbox(“This is a test box to show off how to create a message box in VBS”,0,””)

Over the coming weeks I will be showing you how to use this simple messge box in longer .VBS scripts
